Info Session: Making the Best Decisions for YOU: An Hour with Heather Trammell (Virtual)

Event Description:

Parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs face a continuous stream of heavy choices every day—from navigating school placements and medical surgeries to managing therapy loads. With competing recommendations from schools, doctors, and therapists, it is easy to feel overwhelmed.

Join the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia (DSANV) for an interactive, supportive online session led by Heather Trammell. Drawing on years of experience guiding families, Heather will help you unpack the decision-making process so you can filter out the noise and find the right answers for your family.

In this session, we will explore how to:

  • Listen to your instincts: Discover what your family truly wants.

  • Ask the right questions: Uncover the exact resources and facts that match your unique situation.

  • Build decision confidence: Move past second-guessing and feel secure in your choices.

Speakers: Heather Trammell - Director of Family Support.
