Intern Susy Dominguez ImageDSANV Programs Intern Susy Dominguez joined us this year to provide event support but is doing so much more! She is helping develop our DSANV Self-Advocate Employment program and is also assisting the Executive Director and Board of Directors Development Committee in creating more robust development processes and procedures. Her work will help facilitate growth that will enable DSANV to expand programs like the new Self-Advocate Employment program and various educational and social programs for our members with Down syndrome and their families.

Susy attended American University and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with specializations in U.S. foreign policy and international business during May of 2017. Since graduating, Susy has called the city of Arlington, VA home while remaining proud of her Mexican and Texan roots.  As a sister of two siblings with Down Syndrome (Valeria and Oscar), she is honored to intern for an organization that supports families just like her own.
