Morning at the Museum is a FREE sensory-friendly program for families of children with disabilities. Programs rotate throughout the Smithsonian museums and take place on Saturday or Sunday morning. Each program consists of providing pre-registered families early entrance, facilitated activities, pre-visit materials, and a take a break space.Registration for these program are required. “Little League Baseball for Kids with Special Needs”

Springfield Challenger is Little League Baseball for kids, teens and adults, ages 4 – 40, who have any special needs that preclude them from participating in a mainstream Little League program.  Beginning in 1993 with nine ball players, Springfield Challenger will register over 150 players as we enter our 27th Season.

Sensory-Friendly Baskets and Bunnies event Saturday April 20th 10:00 and 11:15 a.m. Burke Lake Park.  Pre-Registration $12/person & $16/person with egghunt.  At The Door registration $16/person & $21/person with egghunt*  *Limited availability. Click here for the full page flyer.


Designed for children with disabilities ages 1-7 years old.  Participate in an egg hunt in a small and quiet setting then enjoy seasonal activities at your own pace!

Joy Prom is an exciting event that is focused on serving our special needs community! Similar to a high

school prom, the Joy Prom includes food, a red capert experience, a photo area, and lots of fun!
