The Campership Fund of the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia is designed to provide an opportunity for members who wish to attend a summer camp or recreation activity that benefits the individual with Down syndrome AND who are not able to do so due to financial needs. Camps/Recreation can include but are not limited to sports and leisure activities/lessons, Easter Seal camps, speech camps, OT camps, social skill camps, or other camps where an individual with Down syndrome is included. All applicants must provide a medical diagnosis of Down syndrome prior to the disbursement of the award.
