Alexandra Bowen
DSANV Intern Alexandra Bowen started working with us in the summer of 2019. She has been involved with several branches of DSANV and has been loving getting immersed in all the fantastic programming here! In the lead up to the 2019 Buddy Walk, she helped organize sponsors and social media for the event. She also has volunteered at a number of DSANV programs, including the 2019 Buddy Walk, cooking club, learning program, and holiday party. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from families in the Down Syndrome community and support this excellent organization!
Alexandra attended James Madison University and graduated in 2018 with a degree in psychology and writing, rhetoric, and technical communication. She hopes to attend graduate school in genetic counseling.
