In 2011, DSANV launched a Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome group. The purpose of D.A.D.S is to assist and support, through fellowship and action, the fathers and families of individuals with Down syndrome.

Veteran and new fathers of children with Down syndrome are invited to the Northern Virginia (DSANV) chapter of Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (D.A.D.S.) We meet monthly from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on the third Thursday of most months at the Church of Saint Clement, located at 1701 North Quaker Lane in Alexandria, Virginia 22302 (Map Link). Other months we celebrate with a whole family event on the weekend. Contact the local coordinator, Rich Westhoff by email for more information or to RSVP.

Our only meeting for the month will be held on Wednesday, November 29th (Last Wednesday) and begins at 7:00 sharp!  It will be held at:

Metro 29 Diner
4711 Lee Highway
Arlington, VA

Please let me ( know if you will be participating.  There will be an abundance of good food, conversation, and helpful insights offered.  Also please let me know, if you would like to be added or deleted from this list.
